Follow or Reject

Psalm 19:7-11

[7] The law of the LORD is perfect,

reviving the soul;

the testimony of the LORD is sure,

making wise the simple;

[8] the precepts of the LORD are right,

rejoicing the heart;

the commandment of the LORD is pure,

enlightening the eyes;

[9] the fear of the LORD is clean,

enduring forever;

the rules of the LORD are true,

and righteous altogether.

[10] More to be desired are they than gold,

even much fine gold;

sweeter also than honey

and drippings of the honeycomb.

[11] Moreover, by them is your servant warned;

in keeping them there is great reward.

When we follow the Lord with all our heart it feels right because that is what we were created to do. Our souls are revived. We are made wise. Our hearts rejoice. Our eyes are enlightened. We feel clean and righteous.

If we reject God, or follow him halfheartedly, the consequences are life changing. We will grow weary. We will not be joyful. We will not have Godly wisdom.

Follow Jesus at all costs. If you live for him, and not yourselves, your life on this earth will look a lot different. By placing your complete trust in him, your cares and worries will not control your life. If I could change one thing in my life, it would be to live more wholeheartedly for Jesus so that my life consistently demonstrated my faith.
