Jesus enters into our joys and trials with us. Sometimes it’s hard to feel this, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t there. What a glorious day it will be when we see him face to face. The fellowship we have with Jesus will continue where it left off on earth, only this new fellowship will be in his presence.
“Jesus, as I bring my need to you, I acknowledge that you alone are my sufficiency. I only bring need. You only bring fullness. In my emptiness, fill me up. In my want, satisfy me. In my numbness, bring a depth of healing I cannot imagine. You are a God of mercy. It is on the basis of this truth, and through the righteousness of Jesus, that I pray for your intervention in my life. Give me healing, God. I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.” From Canyon Road : A Book of Prayer Kari Kristina Reeves
3 No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him. 4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever. - Revelation 22:3-5
Whoever is unjust let him be unjust still
Whoever is righteous let him be righteous still
Whoever is filthy let him be filthy still

When the man comes around ~ Johnny Cash
“The only beloved Son could not lightly see His Father suffer as He gave Him up for us all. So He, Jesus your Lord, can enter into even this with you, and He does. And if He calls you into a new fellowship with Him in His suffering I know that you will not draw back.” ~ Amy Carmichael
“There is a fellowship among those who suffer, for they live in a world separated from the rest of us.” ~ Elizabeth Elliot
