Heard by God

If I had cherished iniquity in my heart,

the Lord would not have listened.

But truly God has listened;

he has attended to the voice of my prayer. (Psalm 66:18-19)

We need to do a heart check every day. None of us can be sin free in this life, but if we strive to maintain an upright heart, including true repentance, our relationship with God grows warmer. None of this is possible apart from the grace of God.
